"Listen, there are people that are coming down the pilot ladder of the prow. You go up that pilot ladder, get on that ship and tell me how many people are still on board. And what they need. Is that clear? You need to tell me if there are children, women or people in need of assistance. And tell me the exact number of each of these categories. Is that clear? Listen Schettino, that you saved yourself from the sea, but I am going to... I'm going to make sure you get in trouble. ...I am going to make you pay for this. Go on board."

bullet Pattinson leaves Los Angeles home corner

Actor Robert Pattinson and girlfriend Kristen Stewart have moved out of their Los Angeles house.

The 'Twilight' star couple had been renting a 240-square-metre property in the city's exclusive Bel Air neighbourhood, but had to leave as the owner is putting it on the market at a price of $5.9 million, reports contactmusic.com.

Pattinson, 25, and 21-year-old Stewart were believed to be paying $22,500 per month to stay in the four-bedroom, four-bathroom property.

The home also features a high wood ceiling and hardwood floors, a spa, pool and a gazebo as well as a guest house with its own kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom.

We work strenuously to bring our readers a completely independent perspective of Los Angeles news. Our software programmers, editors, journalists and affiliated wire services are all dedicated to producing the best journalism possible.

This in a world where conflicts of interest pervade business empires, and political dynasties, and where a shrinking number of media proprietors are growing their interests at the expensive of diversity of media ownership. The Los Angeles Herald is an independent online newspaper. Our focus primarily is to produce the latest breaking stories out of Los Angeles.

We also cover the nation. Regional news too is a priority, as is our extensive world news coverage. For a Los Angeles weather report, local news, breaking international headlines, or what's happening in sports, the Los Angeles Herald is for you.

Our Business Centre too is active 24 hours a day, bringing you the latest market updates from key global centres like Tokyo, Sydney, London, Paris, Berlin, and New York. Foreign exchange rates are a regular feature, and we provides a vast range of general interest news covering topics like business travel, seniors, womens interest, and lifestyle stories.
